Venice Biennale

Solana-thumb2

The Solana Open Aviary, a transformation of former salt marshes into an enormous openair ornithological park, shows how cutting-edge technology can be used to address biopolitical, operational and tectonic concerns in such situations.

Claudia Pasquero and Marco Poletto – cofounders of the project-leading London practice ecoLogicStudio have reached out to me to create an audiovisual experience for the guests of Venice Biennale, showcasing the thought process of the architects.

The work included gathering and creatively interpreting the data visualisations, satelite pictures and live laboratory footage, in line with the vision of the founders of the studio. The video material was repurposed for various formats to be shown throughout the exhibition space.
