While working as a Creative Director of Brandverse, a Berlin-based Web3 startup, I directed, edited and post-produced Relic, a short film to support the release of Z3NA, the first digital wearable collection by Brandverse. In 2023, it was selected by DesignRush as one of the 8 Best Videos With Amazing Background Music.
Relic is a series of three short films, created using Unreal Engine in collaboration with Mexico-based Cinetica studio. The characters and the storyline were developed to fit within the lore of Z3NA, a collection of digital artifacts from fourteen different universes, each with their distinctive style.
The work included conceptualizing, scripting and directing the short films, as well as editing and post-producing the raw 3D footage. The clips rendered using Unreal Engine under my direction were enhanced with stock footage and color graded by me.
Furthermore, my tasks included editing the background music and sound effects as well as the intro and outro sequences and producing additional cuts for the social media.
The videos feature three out of 14 watches from the Z3NA collection: Relic, Disruptor and Technoir - each with a distinct sound and visuals, as the main character and his sidekick travel across the three worlds collecting these artifacts.
